This blog is dedicated to all the questions you wished you could ask on rounds, but didn’t because you thought it would be too embarrassing. If you have a question about pathophysiology, wards lingo, specific treatments, or medication, no matter how vague or nitty-gritty, please send it to with the subject line “Blog Question” or use this contact form:

I will do my best to answer from the perspective of what is clinically important and provide resources that may be helpful to you. I answer most questions within two weeks. I also confer with my colleagues: AKA, ask everyone around me for help.
